Hi,

I have made several times the early access. I have just started the Underdark section so I think I have played enough to give a feedback.


First of all: I enjoy the game very much. I have a nice time everytime I play and I appreciate all the efforts made by Larian dev team to make this game beautiful and interesting. Good job smile

Points who make me smile/grateful

- Dyes. Not perfect but at least, we can have different armors style. Should have prefered to be able to recolor leather or metal or fabric (probably much more complex).
- The mechanism to finish the day and start a new day is far better than in EA.
- Wither is not a merchant anymore. One heresy less smile
- We have dedicated bags with a embryoning type selection !!! Still missing some of them like the quiver, the scroll rack or the bottle cage handler but for me, this is really improving my gameplay.
- When you store an object into a bag, no more auto filtering !!! Made me crazy during EA.
- Zevlor stuff cannot be anymore stolen in front of him. One heresy less smile
- The new portraits are great !
- I made a main character who was looking like me (in better according to my wife) and sometimes, it has the same facial expressions than me smile
- The rogue stealth attack is better than anything else I saw in EA.

Everything is not perfect however ..

Smoky decisions (Decisions I don't understand)

- Game seems easier than in the past. Easy money, too much food, romance easier, even mind challenges seems simplified. I am playing right now in medium difficulty.

- Still no possibility to create his own group from the beginning without using the multiplayer workaround.
=> really painful ; hope a mod or a next build will fix that.

- Hirelings current system is absolutly useless. Empty vessels, empty soul. The absolute void.

- Racial characteristics are character creation are gone. I am not a specialist of D&D but it was making a lot of sense for me. The new system is flavorless and give the feeling that everybody can do everything.
=> hope to get a game setting by a mod or a next release to be able to select which type of rule you want to use.

- The trading UI is now forcing to sell/exchange half of the items you want to sell. If it is making sense when you want to buy something, it is painful when you want to sell something especialy when, like me, you have already splitted the items you want to keep.
=> hope to get a game setting switch by a mod or a next release to be able to select which type of rule you want to use.

- Every potion, scroll, arrow, bottle of wine ... are directly added to the quick objet hotbar. Painful for me because I would like to organize my stuff (with a quiver, a back pack, a travelling bottle rack, a scroll rack, etc)
=> hope to get a game setting switch by a mod or a next release to be able to select which type of rule you want to use.

- Global character interface has changed again. Not the best I saw, especially for the spell management.

- Not sure it is a Larian issue or Steam issue but my game is crashing when a new hotfix is available because there is an automatic download started in the background.

- Potion crafting is a plus but not very realistic.
=> With the hundred of flasks or empty bottles, you can find, it was so difficult to require a third ingredient to create a potion or a grenade ?
=> WIth all the alchimy equipment you can find on game, there is no possibility to create a alchimy workbench, needed to create any potion at camp ? It should be so much more realistic than spawning bottle from the nowhere to put the result of your alchimy ?.


- No cooking crafting ??? Seriously ?
=> Hope for a mod/new feature in next release where you can create a cooking workbench at camp (Fireplace+ cooking pot).
=> Combine raw ingredients to do elaborate meals (giving more resting points)


- Disguise does still not let you become a goblin ...
=> Could have a nice way to interact with the goblin camp.

- Some very small quests for the ambiance are not done even if every ingredients are already present.
Two exemples :

-
Damon, the tiefling blacksmith is always complaining about wood tools he is forced to use. We have an old forge in the abandonned village so we could have find some blacksmith's tools. In exchange of them, we can get a better price, small amount of xp or one inspiration point.
-
The tiefling girl who is currently eaten by the ogre was a friend of Zorru. Bringing back the necklace to Zorru can give inspiration/ small amount of XP or a nice dialog if Lae'zel was returning the necklace.

Smoky gameplay decisions

- In the very first dungeon, into the crypt, we still find dozen of exemplars of the same books !!!
=> It was a temple or a printing house ?

- You can still climb on the stone table on the emerald grove and dance on it,
=> Nobody cares ...

- On several places, you are still climbing on boxes to get an object...
=> Ridiculous

- Where is the dragon tattoo ???
=> I am crying for the lost of the only tattoo I was using on a regular basis

- When you are a looting the armor/clothes of a dead foe, some of them keep the visual of the armor after...
=> do it for all or for anybody but be consistent. Personnaly, I prefer to not see the armor anymore.

- Wearing tongs at camp ???
=> I have not found the hawaian shirt and the cocktail yet ... cool

Someone should say ...

- to Mirkon to stop putting their fingers in the electrical outlet...
=> The hair style, seriously ???

- to Damon that his new contact lenses are particulary ugly

- to counsellor Florrick to take again anti aging cream ...
=> She was beautiful in early access, I was hoping to be able to romance her in the final game and because the final game tooks so long to come, she took 400 years !!! Probably the most disappointing choice made by Larian galeworriedcry

- to Nautiloid Airlines I still don't get my luggages back. !!!
=> Notice I am glad that all Origins characters get nice tents with all type of stuff coming from nowhere but as main hero, I am still sleeping on a poor matress near the firecamp...

- to the Guardian to die alone
since I have ONLY a great potential due to my tadpole.
