There's a necrotic barrier locking the ruined battlefield and I can't find a way to go around or cross it. I already received the blessing of Isobel with all the consequences, but neither trying to jump over or running through that greenish barrier works. My party keeps suffering necrotic damage until they die.

There are two buffs you need. One is from Isobel, and the other from moon lanterns. You'll want to talk to the harpers at lost light Inn, some of them are talking about ambushing a convoy, you'll want to go with them, and figure out how the enemy is going through the darkness. (at least that's what I think you're referring to, I can't remember that area exactly)

Can't do that, since after Isobels blessing the showdown started and they're all dead.

oof. You're in uncharted territory then, if Isolbel died. she didn't die in my game. You'll have to find a non broken moon lamp then somehow. Good luck!

My advice is to go back to an earlier save and replay the Isobel fight (on Story mode preferably) till you win it because the consequences of a loss are for masochists only. I hate such game design but it is as it is.

I did that, and the key to success is...

Blocking all the doors, so that Marcus is on his own. That way, the winged horrors can't zero in on Isobel.
