These creatures that have the infinite capacity to resurrect eachother should not be a random unexplained encounter walking down a main road. Either MASSIVELY increase the reward by giving them a legendary item as a prize, cap the number of times one of the corpses can be raised, or remove 1 of the 2 death shepards, or some combination of the three.

Frigging random encounter with paralyzing attacks, infinite enemies, and 50% damage reduction, just hanging out by a random caravan on the road. The most bone-headed development decision I've ever seen.

And as usual it's a 7-on-4 fight. I refer you once again to the special section in the 5e rules which states that larger encounters need to have a modifier added to their difficulty rating.

Don't worry though, they balanced this encounter by also giving the enemies the capacity to paralyze you and steal your action for the combat round. *slaps forehead*
