100% physical damage immunity and 3 (so far) breath attacks that do a full party wipe when they land. Who designed these encounters? This is basically a dragon with 6 minions in the beginning of act 2. You can't even prepare damage immunities because he does fire, thunder, and acid damage (so far).

FOLLOW THE D&D RULES. When you try to make up rediculous creatures with epic burp attacks, you end up deviating from the careful balance that makes 5e great. This encounter is insane.

Not every single encounter in the game needs to be an elaborate chess match. These encounters where you fail your speech checks shouldn't be certain death. Any DM who would do this to their players would not be a DM for long. "Oh, you rolled a 7 on your deception check, so... you're all dead now. GG."

And this guy, despite being morbidly obese and literally too drunk to talk, has a movement speed like twice that of my elves. Makes sense.

Just space your characters a tiny bit so they don't eat splash damage and play the mechanic.

When you play the mechanic he will become vulnerable to physical attacks and die very quickly.

The mechanic requires you to hit with two different sources of damage types to make the mixture 'rotten' after attacking with the rotton mixture Thisobald gets more inebriated. Do it 3 times and Thisobald will become incapacitated and take double damage including from physical.
