I find the game mecs on the helm fight totally unfair.
The flayer has half the health of the attacker. The littel crawling thing gets more hits on the attacker than my whole grp.

I get the attacker prone on the ground laughing and what does the Flayers do that he has never done? Thats right he DOES NOT attack the npc on the ground that he has a advantage on.

NO HE ATTACKS A PIG 10ft away?????

R U KIDDING ME?

REALLY ouf of 10 toons I have made the FLAYER has NEVER ATTACKED ANYTHING BUTT THE ATTACKER!!

The one time I get the attacker prone and laughing the flayers fails to attack him.
Only one time did I get the attacker down to one health and still didnt get the sword because I DiD NOT killed him...no I had to get to the helm before the two add-ons kills all my toons w/one hits.

LAME-ist fighting in any game I have ever played? I hope you can make the game more fun than frustratingly terribly boring game/mecs????

Especially since it is the start of the game....what a lame start??? I am totally disappointed w/game because of that....game rage quit mecs for sure!!

So, just to be clear, if you're referring to the first big fight in the tutorial (the helm), you're not supposed to fight everyone. You simply fight the small guys while moving every turn towards the controls and then activate them to end the tutorial. So if you're trying to kill all the devils, it's meant to be a very hard fight.

Save Shadowheart > Press K > Take the Command spell > Use Command on Commander Zhalk to drop the sword > Pick up the sword with Lae'zel = SMASH!

Did this on Tactician difficulty where Zhalk has 195hp with two attacks per turn and had no issue killing everyone, except the two cambions, so killed both the Commander and the mindflayer along with every minion in the room and looted all the corpses before running away. Plus I did so before turn 8 which was surprising grin

Naturally some luck is involved depending on the mindflayer landing its hits, that is why buffing him with Bless or Guidance via Shadowheart is important.
