So as the title says, Grym died right on the mould chamber which means I can't open it to replace the mould to forge my 2nd item. Nothing I do is allowing me to move his corpse either. I did take a screenshot of it to share, but I can't seem to figure out how to add it on here. I guess I'll just have to deal with the fact I can only get one adamantine item.

I'm having the same issue except with the crucible where you place the ore. I killed Grym and a few Lavabats in dead center.I tried thunerbolt arrows that are supposed to knock enemies back and I also tried taking a strength potion on Karlach to bring it to 21 so I can try to move, throw,or shove Grym out the way. the sad thing is out of all the molds I had I used the one I needed the least during the fight so now I have a mase I dont need or use.. Did you find a solution?

I know this happened to me in early access, and I have a feeling I eventually found a workaround but for the life of me I can't recall what it was. Sometimes pressing <Left Alt> and clicking on the label lets you interact with something if you can't reach where the item itself is on the screen. Does that help in this case?

Same issue here. Just defeated the Grym twice and both times he landed dead on the mould chamber and the lever will no longer move "it's blocked".

This has just happened to me. Since the way to kill him is with the hammer (well, the fastest way, anyhow) it's really aggravating if he happens to topple onto the mould or any other part of the contraption which is required to forge an item. Has anyone found a solution? I really don't want to do that battle all over again with only a hope that the exact same thing won't happen.

EDIT: I was able to use the lever and pop up the mould lid, then after about 1s or so it opened the insert dialog. After that I was able to craft my second piece. Still this is a bit janky and I do think his falling position should be adjusted when he dies (script him to walk into a non-interactive area before he falls to bits) because the messaging is misleading and confusing, making it seem like the mechanism is unusable ("No use, it's blocked" I believe is what my avatar kept saying) when in fact it's not. AND for some folks above he fell right on top of the lever and they can't use it at all.

I would suggest Larian adjust it so when he topples it's not on any usable area. Perhaps in the first full patch.

Yeah, had the same problem. He died right on the mold.

This just happened to me today. I used the forge once, during the fight with grim, and I retrieved the split armor mid battle.
At end of battle, Grym fell on the mold cover.

Now I can no longer open the mold to make a 2nd armor...I have 2nd ore, just now way to open the mold. THe mold eject lever says it wont budge (probably because mold housing is empty so there is nothign to eject).

When I mouse over or use ALT- key, the only things I can interact with is Grym, and the mold lever. There is also blood on the mold housing.

Grym is too heavy to move (5000 kg), and I have no desire to reload older save to replay the battle. The last patch for baldur 3 says it added fix to "allow player to use forge a 2nd time"...but that is not entirely true...you cannot use forge a second time if Grym fell on top of the mold housing.

This issue has been around for a couple of months, but I have not yet seen Larian acknowledge it is a problem.

So I just tried jumping down to lower level, and hit button to lower platform again. Now the mold housing has dissappeared completely.
I raised the platform again, but the mold housing is now gone...so even if grym's body moves, I might still be unable to make 2nd armor at this point...what a mess.
