Larian doesn't do expansions. They make a game, and move on to another game.

Best you can hope for is some kind of enhanced/definitive edition with changes and improvements. But even that, chances are slim.

Honestly, if I had a wish-granting genie; I'd wish WoTC would give Larian the rights to make a D&D MMO.
Just a successor to D&D Online; Interpreting the 5E rules into an action-MMO, where Jump makes you jump higher and Swim lets you hold your breath longer, etc.

I'd still be hooked on that MMO, but it's just too old and clunky and frustratingly over-monetized these days. ;.;

To further add, frankly we have so many amazing cRPGS to play, thank god Larian have finished wtih BG3. This game is HUGE and will last us a very, very long time. I want to move on at some point and play my other favorite games again, such as Pathfinder and some others I haven't played, such as DOS:2. There are new RPGS coming out all the time, we are in the middle of a cRPG resurgence, and it's really cool!

I still haven't played Pathfinder 2 even though its in my library, the first one was already so huge I was too terrified of the second.

DLC until 20th level and then BG MMO, or if WOTC and Larian have enough money, one among BG4 / PT2 / NWN3 and D&D MMO (based on BG3 improved) developed at the same time.

No DOS 3 please at the moment.

Hi folks, we already have had a few threads on this that folk can add to, including the one at https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=881104&page=4.

I'm just going to lock this to try to cut down on duplicate discussions.
