Evil playthrough as a Dark urge was way more entertaining then the regular good/neutral one. At first I finished the game as a lawful good human paladin, and thought that it all was kind of predictable, with a lot of annoying characters you need to save and all obvious choices. But the dark urge completely changed my mind, it was a mile better. You can do whatever you want, kill all of the pesky little characters you don't like, in a most horrible way, and the game will give you an appropriate response, you would've expect, for you bloodthirsty attitude, and not just the failed quests. And there is a lot of cool unexpected surprises all around too, with no pity on you. When the bard came along to my camp, on my second playthrough, I thought "wow, I didn't know you can hire her, I most be missed something the first time", lmao. So, it was a lot of fun, actually loved it. Very rare example of a highly enjoyable, well done antagonistic story, good take on bhaal cult ambience, and strong "Overlord" nostalgia
Kind of wish there was even more "dark urges", and narrator comments though, since they all kind of fade away at the second act. I only meet butler tree times for the whole game, since I was determent to be unhinge from the start, and he had no need to be guiding me. The ending was nothing special as well, even compared with the "good" one. But otherwise it was great, really wish there to be more fun stuff like that in the future games/expansions
