I've got 3 myself. My main party which I'm running with the in-game companions is led by rogue Tiefling and is what I can only best describe as chaotic-neutral.

I also rolled a Dark Urge Warlock with a full party of customs that's going to be full-on scorched earth chaotic evil.

And then I've got my good party which I'm rolling with three customs led by an Elf druid, Dragonborn paladin, and Draconian-bloodline monk.

I'm having a blast, but I'll probably have a good 300 hours of game time(including 50+ from EA) until I complete my main run with the first party.

Just one active run, though I have played around in the character creator quite a lot to plan out future PCs.

I've got 6 going at the moment biggrin

Not basing them so much off of alignments, but rather different personalities that lean towards exploring different paths in the story arc.

I play with the in-game companions, though one of my main characters managed to alienate so many of the companions that I had to recruit a hireling instead weird

Just one. I don't play multiplayer and like sticking with one playthrough at a time.

And what's odd is I'll play it multiple times but probably won't deviate much in my choices.

So far I've managed my will saves and stuck with one game. I want to play it all the way through and not burn out chapter one on multiple restarts. Also, chapter two has so far been really good, so not much trouble staying on target. But that Dark Urge playthrough is tempting though! So many hilarious evil dialogue choices I'm not picking.

Two. In one universe, I play a simple minded socialist barbarian. She uses a brute force approach where possible, and detests scheming and politics. She longs for a simple life, and on the way there tries to help the oppressed, and likes to redistribute the means of production where the opportunity presents itself. In a parallel universe, I play a Dark Urge drow sorceress with a superiority complex. She will scheme her way to her goal, which is to be as powerful as possible.

My aim is to have two very different playthroughs this way. Playing evil does prove challenging, role playing wise. I have to carefully avoid choices that I would naturally make. Already, just out of the mind flayer ship, giving in to dark urges has yielded a horrifying result. I had to fight to repress the urge to reload. But I will try to get into that groove.

That's probably a better way of describing my main Tiefling lol

A man after my own heart!

I don't think that's odd. I've played the first two games so many times and while I've played almost all of the possibilities possible, most of my playthroughs were pretty consistent with the kind of character I like to play.

I have my main playthrough with my halfling bardlock, which I play mostly, but today I made a Durge, a tiefling storm sorceress, because I wanted to see the special scenes. And because of the discussion over in Story & Characters about the Durge being a Tav+ or not. So far I would say or not.

I have four going. Solo Tav Bard, solo Durge paladin, 4 player Tav barbarian, 2 player Tav monk.

Think I'll have to put one of my solos on the backburner though, don't have the time and getting too high of a dose of act 1.
