So I'm currently exploring Szarr Palace in the city section during act 3, and I found a hidden chamber.

After you gain access to the ball room, there are two "tower" rooms, one at each corner. If you go into the open one you'll find a button, send one character inside to press it, this closes that room but opens the dining room.

At the back of the dining room is a chest, move this to reveal a hatch. This will take you down into a weird creepy green-hued area with marble floors and cages of bodies.

There is what appears to be an angled stone slab behind a partially raised portculis, and a grating running from it to another door, beneath which lies a heavy chain. Hidden alonside are pairs of marble plates. Putting boxes on the first four opens a door, though you don't seem to need to (it wasn't locked for me) and there are another two inside that appear to do nothing.

NOTE: If you do put weight on the four initial plates, you will need to remove some to reopen the exit door, as this does lock and can't be picked.

Inside the closed area is a bottomless green pit over which are suspended more cages. There are also three levers, one intact that seems to do nothing, and two broken that appear to be mislabelled as "marble plate" and can't be reassembled (they're just treated as junk items). It appears to be an upper area to the crypt you descend into via the elevator near the office.

It feels like the intention is that solving the puzzle would cause something (maybe coffin sized) to be dragged onto the stone slab and the portculis opened. But what, and who might it contain? It's so frustrating not to know!

It seems like this area may have been cut yet the entrance to it remains, but it's a huge shame as it's a very unique looking area and so tantalisingly close to functional. It feels like everything is there, it's just missing a little scripting and a cutscene for whatever it was intended to do?

Would love to see this restored in a later patch, but for now it seems like the area needs a tweak to make clear it isn't currently functional?

they seem to be coded wrongly. Should be interactale and not pickable
