On steam, reddit forums etc there are many threads about the constant crashing being experienced after hotfix 3.
I am running RTX 3070 i9900k 48gb ram using optimal settings and played the game without any issues for 50+ hours.
Downloaded the latest patch today and the game crashes 1 minute into gameplay no matter what I do.
I have verified game files on steam, deleted and then re-downloaded all the old/temp files in larian folders, tried both vulcan and directx, tried with & without launcher, tried also with & without steam (direct from .exe). Have the latest game-ready AND studio-driver on geforce. Have reset my PC.
It's a disgrace that I can't play the game I paid for. Hundreds are also having this issue but no word from larian or can someone point me to a thread on here where this is being discussed?

Hey man, same issue for me here. However, no reason to be entitled and demand to fix this immediatly. They for sure are already working on it. This is some hard work they do, so please have some respect for that. Seems you have enjoyed the game before, and I surely can understand that youre mad (I was too! Would love to throw my computer out of my window now) but thats no reason to act like an entitled Karen.

It was the same story with Hotfix #2 and Hotfix #3. Hey man, same issue for me here. However, no reason to be entitled and demand to fix this immediatly. They for sure are already working on it. This is some hard work they do, so please have some respect for that. Seems you have enjoyed the game before, and I surely can understand that youre mad (I was too! Would love to throw my computer out of my window now) but thats no reason to act like an entitled Karen. The OP is not expecting it to be fixed immediately, he is asking for a sign from Larian that they are aware of the problem and how far we are from a fix. It was the same story with Hotfix #2 and Hotfix #3 so an apology from them probably wouldn't go amiss after three fuck-ups on the spin.

So - in my eyes - there is no reason to apologize. I wouldnt expect that a game of this size runs on every systems smoothly. Its quite a complex matter and problems can always occur especially for a project of this dimension. Anyhow, the problem I had was already fixed after only 4-5 hours. Way faster than expected. Maybe also consider that Devs need to sleep, too. We are all humans in the end. So, also to you -> maybe just stop being an entitled Karen? Aww and a lot of thx to Larian working this out so quickly. <3
