Hi there!

I don't quite understand how the magic arrows (like fire or acid) work.

Is their damage dealt additionally to the one of the bow (the normal shot) or is the bow completely irrelevant at that point because you only have the arrow's damage?


Does anyone understand how it works?

Fire or acid arrows should add extra elemental damage on top of your regular bow/crossbow damage.

If things have not changed from EA:
- You can add aditional damage on top of everything by dipping the weapon.
It makes no sense, but the game seems to have no limits of stacking extra damage.
- Elemental attacks (including special arrow attacks) cause a surface effect even when they miss.
Yes, the taget stands in a puddle of fire and has the burning status even if you miss with the fire arrow.

Guess you have to be careful with there areal effects... I reckon they apply on companions too.
