As the title says. I used to run multiple instances of BG3 on the same machine so I could make a custom party.
Now it wont launch a 2nd instance when I try. Anyone else having the same issue?

Works fine for me.
Shut down Steam and then go to the folder where you have Baldurs gate 3 and open through bg3_dx11.exe as many times as you need.
Remember that you can't remove custom characters from the party so if you have 4 custom characters you can't bring any other companions for the rest of that playthrough.

another option is splitscreen... only needs one PC / copy but is a bigger load and you need an extra controller
