Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems game won't start

I just bought this game today. I can run Beyond Divinity just fine after setting my resolution to 640x480. But when I try to run this one I of, course get the test. I left my settings alone from when I set up Beyond. But when I try to run this test nothing blank screen then I frezze and have to restart my pc??? odd. I figured since I can run Beyond I should be able to run this one right????

I'm running windows xp home
AMD Athlon 1.67 ghz
processer 800
712 ram
256 gforce video card

Ok I finally got it going. I reinstalled. When the test came up I check skip test and applied. And woohoo it worked.

This black screen problem with Direct3D in the configuration program is more often associated with Radeon cards/drivers, but I'm glad you got it working. As you found, the game itself works fine, even though the test does not.
