Did you do full cleanup + reinstall as last step? At same time also? Other person had local file corruption as cause. That is something Larian can not fix, but actions of iser are required.
Full instructions below just in case you did not:
Full clean up and reinstall. Just uninstalling game files do not clean your settings and mods etc..
1. Locate your game folder with steam (or other means)
2. Uninstall
3. Delete your game folder
4. Delete C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
5. Delete (if exists) C:\Users\<UserName>\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3
6, Delete (if exists) C:\Users\<UserName>\OneDrive\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3 (Your OneDrive location can vary)
Note all local saves, mods and settings are lost. Copy your save for safekeeping if you want.
