does anyone knows how to find the book wich medical officer asks for ?

You have to backtrack to the arena.
The book is in the left monster cell.
If you blocked the wheel, make sure you pick up the silver key in the medic's office to open the cage.

OK, the only problem with this is that I can not pick the d*** thing up. Or am I just supposed to go back to the Medical Officer and tell him where it is?

Click on the book and drag-and-drop it either into your inventory or onto a character's portrait.
