When hotfix 4 was released, that was it. I have a save file with over 100 hours on it. It doens't matter how many times I verify steam, do all the things Larian says to do on crashes including changing my settings and deleting my cache... nothing works. I get to the main menu and that's as far as I go. I can't load any saves, it instantly crashes. I can't even create a new character, it just straight up crashes. I've tried uninstalling, deleting everything, and reinstalling. Nothing works.
I've been playing BG3 since early access in 2021, I spent so long doing every sidequest and completing every little storyline I could on one file. And it's all gone. I can't play this game at all anymore.
What do I even do now? Just wait for the next hotfix and hope that everything gets solved?
I'm so defeated. All that time and energy and happiness on my main file. Just gone. And I can't even try again or make a new character.
