Hi! my character is a paladin of the oathbreaker variety. i was trying a multiclass and decided that it just wasn't worth it, so i went to withers so i could be pure pali. But nope, he won't allow me to respec until i cleanse and take up my oath once again. but i don't WANT to have to pay 1k gold so i can take up my oath JUST so i can respec (only to remove the levels of multi-classing i did, i don't want to respec out of pali), then re-break my oath. seems REALLY unfair and goes against the freedom to respec that other classes enjoy. my solution is straightforward (if from a programming standpoint not simple); add a functionality to respecs to decide how many lvls of what class you want to roll back, OR make it so that when respecing as an oathbreaker, withers can ONLY remove everything but your first lvl of paladin. with either of these changes, it removes the workaround to not paying the 1k to fix your broken oaths while still allowing paladins to buildcraft NEARLY as easily as any other class.

After seeing we'd had a bit of a flurry of paladin-related posts this morning, I am trying a new experiment and have created a sticky thread here to discuss all things related to the way paladins have been implemented in BG3.

Can we try using that thread for paladin discussions and see how it goes?
