NPCs specifically referring to Ansur as Wyrm. And in fact several times even called him Great Wyrm.
Meaning Ansur is very old dragon (at very least 1000 years old, over 1200 years as a Great Wyrm).
The size of him however suggest he is at best just an adult dragon.
Really breaks the immersion. You descend there, expecting to meet truly massive ancient dragon. And game just throw at you adult-size dragon, which is hardly that impressive, as there thousands of adult dragons across Toril.

Not only was Ansur's size off, but WTF is up with his instant TPK attack at the end of the FIRST ROUND of combat?!

Level 12 party, 3 members with a piece of adamantine gear, everyone spread out AND behind cover (like Wyll yells out), and it's just insta-gib for everyone: "Your party has been defeated."

If a dungeon master pulled that crap in real life, I'd be amazed by the players' self-restrain if they ONLY told the DM to F-off and quit playing in their group. More likely, I'd expect books, beer cans, and dice to go flying at their head!

Extremely uncool, Larian...

Looks like Ansur being able to nova thru the crystal barriers was a bug that's been fixed as of today's patch.

Still feels sketchy to have an ability that you pretty much need foreknowledge of or extreme luck to survive on the first try, but this fix at least is consistent with the in-game advice Wyll gives, so thanks for that.
