Case in point:
I was in the goblin hideout yesterday and wanted to save the guy on the torture rack. Failed the check, so I thought ok, I'll just put the torturers to sleep, which I did. Then when I tried to interact with the guy on the rack, they are just instantly awake and attacking me for trying to pick the lock.
I say WTF?!? I put them to sleep so they wouldn't be able to stop me from doing the thing! Why does their "stop the player" script override the sleep condition? Just treat it as the unconscious condition when you "kill" someone with non-lethal damage...
I've noticed this kind of ineffectiveness with a lot of situations where utility spells would be useful in this game. It's kind of annoying. Sometimes the game makes me feel like I
could do almost anything, and then I try and it just says "nope".
