I like to play games and figuring things on my own. And its a problem when you dont know if you just miss something or quest is bugged. I couldnt wake up the dude in act 2 spent few days searching through act 2 zone. Found a place locked 100% has to do with Halsin quest for lifting curse and the kid tiefling (lost the game against him). Ive tried all kind of weird things to wake up the guy in tavern. Spells, attacks, equiping fire fists armor, equiping the axe from the shadows who appear during hide and seek game as its kinda unique and I feel the kid is may be has to do with the curse. But no result. Please tell me the quest is bugged. Halsin said to start from checking the sleeping guy. He has nothing and bags around him have nothing too. Im going crazy. What kind of quest is: go somewhere and find something.

I think a certain location is mentioned, perhaps in the letter that the Fist sitting by Art will give you? If you find and explore that location, that might help. Also, if you inspect Art and consider what you know of him, then it might help you get an idea of what you're looking for.

It does involve venturing a way away from the Inn.

1. It's not bugged. You are missing something.
2. I had a similar frustration. You're not alone.
3. Make sure to read your journal entry about this.
4. You probably want to talk to Halsin again.
5. I'm not sure what locations you've been to yet, so it's hard to give additional tips without accidentally spoiling something. But basically, you have to go somewhere. And get something. But only *after* talking to Halsin again. (I made the mistake of accidentally getting rid of that something because I didn't know it was important, then had to track it back down.)

figure out what you're missing to complete it, and yes you are missing a step
or
this is a bit of a spoiler in the sense you need to think outside the box with this game, but it is an alternate action, the game almost always gives you more than one way to do something... i understand wanting to figure things out on your own, i play the same way, until frustrated enough to look it up. sometimes stepping back and doing a different related quest for a bit, either helps you figure it out, or gives you another way to complete the one that frustrated you.

i've already been forced to ignore one quest, because i couldn't see how to finish it, literally... it's a colour coded one and i'm colour deficient.
