so I started a romance with Karlach and got all the way up to the 'getting closer' cutscene after she got her second upgrade and yet the game hasn't seemed to recognize I'm taken as thirsty Gale had the scene with him talking in the opening when he talks about his 'destiny' which is clearly trying to start a romance and the only dialogue available is "I dont wanna sit here with you whining in self pity" which is way too mean instead of a simple "dont feel the same way about you, man" when there should've been A: a dialogue to mention you like said party member just not in 'that' way or B: just lock off the romances with other characters once you get into a relationship with someone else.

Would also help if a patch was implemented where just like we can see annotations skill checks for certain dialogue lines and and there should be the same for romance so you know which dialogue choice leads you to the romance path.

That link should take you to a specific post I made about the Gale star-gazing scene, which I think you might be referring to here? Some players have certainly found issues with Gale thinking there's a romance active when there isn't, but in this particular scene I didn't get any romance dialogue even when being friendly to him - there's a screenshot of how the conversation went in spoiler tags in my post.

I'll just lock this thread to cut down on duplicate discussions. You should of course feel free to add to the existing thread.
