Is there a workaround for Gale's condition? Maybe a cheap antique shop somewhere that sells cheap magical items at 1 gold apiece? Is there anything in the game that would give me a steady supply of magical items cheaply? Again, gentle hints only please. Thank you! The reason I ask is that there is a cheap workaround for Astarion's condition: someone at The Blighted Village is always sleeping, so Astarion can feed on him without giving me the "Bloodless" penalty. So maybe there is a easy solution for Gale too? P.S. I've just recruited Karlach and she also has a "condition" involving rage, so it seems to be a theme here.

He will stop asking for magic items after a little while, so just having a small stockpile that you don't plan on using in the early game will get you through.

You can manage gale with only ever giving him two magic items.

The ones that come to mind are

Just give him three magic items, there's so many and some of them aren't exactly great.

Man, imagine if Larian hadn't changed it.

Just give him useless items like Komiras Locket. There is no complete list yet, I think, but it shouldn't be hard to find three less useful magic items from those that are known so far...

Thats such a terrible list, the items listed were simply not useful in that writers opinion, who very clearly simply dislikes bards and assumes no one else will be using a bard.

Again you don't even need 3 items, you only need 2. I listed in spoilers two such items that literally do nothing and are even less useful than the dancing lights amulet.
