Pleaseeee release a definitive edition that adds back in as much of the cut content as possible. ESPEICALLY the companion related stuff, the upper city and the endings. I don't even care about the level cap (14-15 would be nice, but I just want the story content at this point), I would be more than happy to run around at level 12 for a decent amount of the game if we get to explore Avernus, actually save Karlach, see the Raven Queen. And Cazador ESPECIALLY needs more content. I was hyped to see how what his role would be in the "Gather your allies" stage of the game and to see him better integrated into the city and the Upper City, now he's barely even an NPC and sure we get to know a lot about him as it is, but it just doesn't hit quite right. Also, we seriously need to have consequences to using the tadpoles. That was a particularly interesting and sometimes concerning aspect in EA because sure we get great power, but at what cost? That whole line about "you are losing something you will never get back?" don't feel it at all and that is such a missed opportunity. I truly love the game and I think it is the best game I have ever played, maybe even ever will play, but the story is so good and so compelling it physically hurts to see the few missed marks it has that I (as well as many others) know could be remedied by adding in cut content. I was under the impression that the Upper City was going to be as open and explorable as the rest of the city and game in general. It was very disheartening to learn that was not the case and the lack of attention to Bane when we have so much Bhaal and Myrkul focus showed as well. If anything though, the biggest issue for me is cutting out a significant portion of content that related to companions and the permutations for the ending of the game (and the missed use of Jergal and why he even cares at all, because as far as I am aware that is never explained). Oh and a small detail I had REALLY hoped for: something, anything that related to Astarion or his life BEFORE Cazador. It may even exist and I have not found it and am trying not to be spoiled, but I want to find a portrait or a book, literally anything that at least mentions his "mortlal" life.
