As the title says, I don't quite get it.

We got out final rest before entering the city and my character contemplates what to do. A dimensional portal opens and a bunch of Githyanki pour through it. We're in the middle of fighting them and suddenly another cutscene comes up and my character is turned into a mind flayer. So what did I do wrong.

Try turning the volume on and listening to what the guy in the prism tells you to do, its not hard.

Yes, made it...

And crashed when using the portal to leave the astral plane
