this happened in the zhentarim hideout after they told me to enter i had my ranger's wolf out and it started combat. reloaded and dismissed it and it went away.
and then i encountered an npc ellyka on the road and as i approached her it triggered combat because i had scratch summoned. very annoying. additionally because summoning my ranger's beast friend has to happen before combat but i keep having to dismiss it as to not trigger combat when it shouldn't, and so i end up not really being able to use this ability.
