I was expecting it to come in patch #1, since it must be one of the most asked for feature on reddit and steam, along with appearence editing

But we really need this, it's so strange, that the owlbear cub goes to the ONLY character without survival or medicine skill, and the characters with the correct skill just stand behind during the cutscene, looking into the void, while they could help the little cub...

It happens in so many dialog, it's so frustrating that this is not a feature in the base game. Is it planned at least ? In TT, people pitch in, that's the thing about playing a PARTY of adventurers, gathering our skills and putting them to good use, not letting our friends just fail because they don't know how to do stuff

Thanks for reading

This has been a popular request throughout early access, so I wouldn't be expecting it to come in an imminent patch if at all. Particularly as it doesn't seem a simple thing to add given the way Larian have implemented conversations (well, some possible "solutions" might be simple, but I suspect would introduce different problems and dissatisfactions).

Which isn't to say we shouldn't keep asking. You never know, if people keep clamouring for a way to get parties more involved in dialogues, or the ability to swap characters in dialogue, then eventually Larian might prioritise it. It was amongst my top five hoped for features in the game, though I never held out a huge amount of hope.

I can't find one of the other threads I know we've had on the topic right now, but if anyone else has a link please do share!

That's so frustrating smirk I really don't understand why it's not already implemented, since it's been asked since EA. I mean, it's a custom engine, they could do whatever they want, so it can't really be an issue from there, then, that would mean it's an intended behavior ? That would be really strange
