After the shaman receives his beat down I finish exploring that area but now I have no way out and there are still to looked doors. Any ideas?

Yes, this re-appearing dialogue is indeed a bug (I didn't encounter it myself), but I read some posts dealing with your XP.
As for levers => these nasty little buggers like to blend in with the background.
