Will be implemented those technologies in the future in BG3?

I think they will when they release the first DLC that I have NO idea what or when.
I think this because the graphics in this game are DX11 and in my opinion max it out.
HDR does quite a bit for the volumetric effects and while ray tracing would look great I think it would just lose detail and could mess with Darkvision.
For the current engine more is mot going to add much. It is shockingly real in moments and places.
Now for the DLC people are going to want more because we are greedy goblins, so an engine update also gives more tools to the devs for gameplay.
I see DLC going one of two ways:
1. Build the classic D&D and AD&D Modules from Keep on the Borderlands forward. This would get new content out faster.
2. MAJOR DLC, say Act One size. Waterdeep. Come on, what a great place to mature the spell system!
I would also like to see an arena to have random battles.

I would also like to see an arena to have random battles. Larian doesn't do DLC. They might release a couple of little odds and ends like the gift pack, but don't expect expansion size DLC or even new areas. Larian are old school, they make a game, and move onto the next.

There is a way for DLC implementation to be a great thing. Looking back there was a wonderful Super Hero game, Freedom Force. The game was well designed and would have been very successful as a "service". Imagine that every 30 to 60 days a new "issue" was released which was part of an existing campaign or part of a new campaign. Periodic game engine updates would be included. You paid a "subscription" for the new issues or paid a higher fee to buy them Alacarte.
Now take the ideas presented here to the same progression. Various Forgotten Realms modules or even other world modules, could be made into mini downloads for BG3 and it's system. These could be low cost items to just add more play options. A deeper new campaign could be developed over time and made available later.
This approach means the game has a longer life and potentially better cash flow for Larian. For gamers it means they can have steady content, potentially at a reasonable price and with few delays. Imagine if Larian did not need to "re-invent the wheel" as it where for a new game. Instead could just commit resources to a new campaign storyline, new (as needed) art work and dialog. By keeping the base of the game the same of only mildly upgraded, they could reduce the "next" games production time and lower the cost.
This approach brings all the cool potential of a DLC to the table with none of the downside. The bad of DLCs right now is developers use them to add material to the game that they already often had near ready, just decided to hold back for cash. The approach we are discussing is expanding on the exiting base with new material outside the scope of the original game and storyline.

They mentioned they want to do more with bg3 though I thought? Which insinuates DLC.
Which reminds me, I need to get it for wrath of the righteous...

While you are right about Larian, they have revisited older releases with DOS II Definitive, and there is Swen's statement about doing more. That plus the fact that BG3 is doing boffo business by any measure means the folk making any real profit from BG3 have to be seriously considering it.
GIve the BG3 engine like three more major patches and it will be SOLID.
I don't want to wait another twenty, or even FIVE years for another full Baldur's Gate game.
I also do not see how they could go much higher in levels. The Spells get World-Altering. There is no way I can see Larian implemeting Plane Shift to be used at any time by a player without building ALL of the Planes. Not to mention good old Wish. It would be fun as well as frustrating to see NPCs use these spells.
So at this point unlike my previous post I think Larian needs to focus on a DLC around Waterdeep. Gotta be a new set of companions and player characters. Hopefully Larian gives the option to import a previous character and have them reset to level 3, but I doubt it.
I also still want a Random Battle arena.

Waterdeep, Icewind Dales, Neverwinter, Cormyr, the Dalelands, Amn and so much more. So many enemies, ideas; the Forgotten realms is story rich for a HUNDRED RPG ideas.
