In a game where you can literally open every chest, every shelf, every barrel, etc... - it can get very tedious after a while to constantly have to do it manually one chest, shelf, barrel at a time. After spending 100+ hours in the game, I have reached a point where I am almost dreading entering a room, because I know there will be dozens of new containers for me to check. I know that nobody is forcing me to open every container I come across, but some of the loot you find there is really worth the extra effort. At the same time this can be very tedious and repetitive, especially after opening thousands of chests in a single playthrough. I cant imagine how it will feel on my second playthrough...
Therefore, I think it would be nice if we could get a button or a search skill with a 2-3 meter area effect which would allow us to search the containers within that area with one click and then get the loot from all the nearby containers in a window. We could then move the loot from that window to our inventory. This could even apply to corpses. It would make the gameplay loop of constantly opening containers much less tedious.
On that same note, the clutter in your inventory can become a real mess - especially considering how small the inventory windows are. With no option to resize the windows, it can be a real hassle to move stuff around and put it into various bags. I know there are search options, which does make finding what you need easier, but it's still very clunky and disorganized. At the same time, if you want to have special bags by type, you need to move stuff into those bags manually. So, if we could get some extra bags that put specific types of items into it automatically, it would make our life much easier. For example, a special bag for potions, a special bag for scrolls, a special bag for books and scrolls, a special bag for weapons and armor, a special bag for quest items, etc. This already exists for camp supplies, keys and alchemy ingredients. It just needs to be expanded a bit. It would also need to be made in such a way so that you can open these bags in shops and then sell your items from there - otherwise what's the point. But yeah... please Larian... I think I spent 10 hours in a single playthrough just sorting the stuff out - and I can't say that this was very fun. A few extra specialized bags would make a world of a difference.
