First off I love this game if I didn't I wouldn't care if it worked, secondly, it worked perfect on Ultra settings, had over 100 hours not 1 crash, played through Act 3 and beat it, I noticed almost no bugs other then a helmet glitch here and there. Started my second playthrough as a different type of character, this is one of the cool things about BD3 you can play through about 10 different ways. This game was up there with Elden Ring for me, my all-time favorite game.
Then they "Patched" the game... Started crashing once an hour on Act 1 and 2. I have uninstalled/reinstalled, updated Nvidia drivers scoured the internet for a fix and tried everything. To the guy that posts "restart your computer, it works!" on every post like this, I did.
Then I get to Act3... Start crashing every 10-15 minutes. Lowered my setting to high, then medium then low. Still crashing. I have even started the game from the specific file in the BG3 folder with steam closed, disabled overlay in my comp registry etc etc. This morning I fire it up and immediatly crash on the first screen, lmao.
Why couldn't they give us the option to rollback the patch? Anyone know how to do that? The version before worked perfectly for me. I actually noticed more bugs after the patch and choppiness then before.
I know I'm not the only one either I have seen threads here on steam and Larian, so there are obviously a ton of people having the same problem yet when I look in Larians news on the upcoming patch I see nothing addressing the issue. Does it just come down to the bottom line? If the game stops working for X number of people it's not worth putting X into fixing what wasn't broke? At least let me rollback to the version before, I guess that is my question along with just venting, anyone know how to do this?
