If you are like me and none of the "fixes" worked for you and lord knows I tried everything, try the following and let me know if it works.

So I found a fix that worked for me after trying EVERYTHING!
Step 1. Close steam
Step 2. Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data
Remove the following files: Patch1.pak, Patch0_Hotfix3.pak and Patch0_Hotfix4.pak (I put them in a seperate folder on the desktop in case I need them)
Step 3. Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin
Run the bg3 exe file as admin.

I went from crashing every 10 mins to playing over an hour now without a crash. I did this methodically by starting with Patch1, still crashed, patch hotfix3, still crashed when I removed 4 it stopped crashing. Now I have not tried it but the game may run fine with Patch and Hotfix 3, just not 4 but I have not tried this yet.

Hotfix #4 caused lots of problems and Larian had to release a fix for the hotfix right after.

You should start from the bottom, re-adding HF 1, test and re-add HF 2, etc.

There are at least two potential problems here.
1. Running around, e.g. Act 2, with e.g. HF 3 installed may not cause crashes but once you hit Act 3 . . .
2. Sometimes certain data is baked into the save so if you try to load a save that is looking for a certain HF and that HF is not there then . . .
