We are now at 1 week after the official PS5 launch. I was hoping that they would have a big patch planned that would finally address this issue so many of us are having. Radio silence is not a good look Larian.

Does anyone know if there is a way to tag the people on these forums who actually work for Larian? If so, maybe that will get their attention.

Loved Divinity and love that Larian actually pushes out patches fairly quickly, but if this couch co-op thing is not fixed in the patch tomorrow, my wife and I decided we are just going to start our own separate games.

There is no reason for this, especially considering Divinity and BG3 are basically the same exact game. Why take out what worked perfectly in your game 5 years ago?

So glad that quite possibly the biggest request based on feedback from multiple platforms got fixed with this patch. Thanks a lot Larian for once again forgetting how couch co-op is supposed to work.

Which request in particular? I saw news in Patch 3, an option was added to automatically listen to conversation, which is awesome!

"Added an option to the Default Online Settings to let you automatically listen in when another party member enters a dialogue in multiplayer."

The request is in the title which you started. Not sure why you forgot this.
This has to do with split screen in battle and in general exploration, not about conversations.

If you played Larian's other games Divinity 1 & 2 you'd know that split screen is not and does not need to be on all the time during couch co-op. It was always one full screen if you and your partner were near each other on the map and ALWAYS full screen during combat. For some reason Larian forgot how their own game is supposed to work.

No, Larian has not fixed any of the issues with couch co-op. Everything is still unnecessarily split screen.

No, Larian has not fixed any of the issues with couch co-op. Everything is still unnecessarily split screen.

That's an incorrect statement, couch co-op had much worse issues than "we can't share screen anymore!1 :(" which got adressed on Patch 3. Act 1 and 2 was a drag with 10 second freezes and bugs that would require constant waiting or the reload of a save. Shared screen would be much nicer but doesn't make the game unplayable.
