In act 2, Arabella is shown to have acquired Naturistic magic, and she is told... nay... forced, by Withers to leave the group, because "destiny" wand whatnot. After this, she leaves in act 3... leaving a note
I personally would have rather this not happen, I would have as a druid gladly taken her as an apprentice.
But it is what it is. I have a request... I want to be able to help her on her journey, and send someone with her to accompany her.
I dont know how alone she has to be for this journey. But there is one being I can think of, that I would trust to stand by her side during this...
At the end of act 2, before she leaves, I want to give her the owlbear cub to be her protector and companion on whatever journey she must undertake.
Near as I can tell, the cub doesnt have much to do in act 3... I dont think he can become a familiar...
Arabella needs someone to be there by her side in whats to come, owlbears are often rejected by druids because they are thought of as unnatural things, just like druids... but they are creatures of nature, and natural magic is likely what changed them.
There are thematic reasons, practical reasons... and just heartwarming reasons.
Whatever is to come, I just... I dont want Arabella to be alone for it, she needs him more than I do... And she would love him, and care for him, more than I ever could.
