Ever since the latest patch, I'm stuck whenever I pick a dialogue option that requires a dice roll. As soon as I select the dialogue option I want to make a roll for, the game acts as if it is waiting for you to click the die, but nothing is shown. I can't leave the dialogue or try switching characters. Saving and reloading doesn't work either.
Checked this on multiple characters at different stages in the game, and even in multiplayer with a friend. As soon as a roll is initiated in dialogue, the game bugs. Been trying for 2 hours and so far no workaround. Game is unplayable for me atm =/

Same here, the patch is a catastrophe, performance drop and stuck in dice roll, I had never had an issue before

Yeah, I'm getting the same issue. Came here to see if it was just me or part of Patch 2.

Exact same thing for me, i click a convo option that initiates a roll except nothing pops up and i cant leave. only way out is to alt f4 or reload an old save. went all the way back to a save form yesterday and the error is still occurring. also never had this issue, over 130 hours in atm but now i cant play

I'm also experiencing the same problem. Click a dialogue choice to roll and it just shows my character but no dice roller pops up.

Ok, it is caused by the mods mod fixer and Improved UI, since it seems, that Larian has implemented their own version to make mods compatible. Try deinstalling them, repair game and then it should work.

Also have this problem. Any dialogue option with a qualifier - so [Intimidation] or [Investigation] etc etc - presumably needing a dice roll - just gets stuck and nothing happens. Can't continue the conversation or story from there.

APOLS - mod problem. Doh should have checked first but honestly forgot I had installed any. Sorry about that!

Odd, I never even used mod fixer and improved UI. Only mods I use atm are horns of faerun and basket of equipment =/

Tried removing them aswel and check, but I still have the same issue, sadly.

Try verifying your game files too

Same here, did my first playtrhough without much trouble, very smooth, but after a few hours playing the second time with the new patch i simply cant take any acction that involves a roll dice on dialogue, disarm traps and open locks still works, but not been able for example to test religion or strengh on phalar alluve sword, or a persuasion check with shadowheart on the party scene where they drink together.
Very sad, for now i`ll have to stop the game and wait till its fixed.

I tried updating mods and then removing them entirely and verifying games files, but that didn't work for me. There's a larger Reddit thread about this issue, where someone mentioned uninstalling, deleting local app data, and reinstalling - that got everything working for me again. It might be worth a try even if it takes a while.

IAM GETTING the same issue as seen in these posts .. i taken all the ui and other mods that cuase this issue off and unistalled them and reinstalled them unistalled and tryed also.. there is no dice showin... and iam sad i had to make a new play through 7 times now iam thinkin getting ride of all my mods i have 87 or more mods for hair and so on .. i love them and he4y should be in game .. tavs hair and others should be accepted,, i feel sad really sas that might have delete all.. all the time we need long hairs and to are feet like in some mods on vortex,,,
iam not unistalling ,, or starting again please be more in touch with moders,... and help them
