Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Suggestions & Feedback Act II Progression

I never went to Moonrise Towers first and decided to go after the relic to defeat Kethric first since i figured i would need it to fight him so why go to the towers first? Didnt realize what a massive mistake that would be as it completely locked me out of continuing my romance with Gale and i was unable to save a whole bunch of prisoners in Moonrise. I was a good bit into Act III before i realized it and was not going to do all those fights and everything over again in this play through. I know it warns you about things changing when you go to find the relic but it wasnt made clear i should have gone to the towers first or that a ton of stuff would be now locked out for me. I'm mostly disappointed in Gale's scene only unlocking by visiting the towers before the relic. Maybe add more suggestion to go to the towers right away for someone who cant focus like me haha. There was also a bug in being unable to talk to the Nightsong after the fight with Kethric so they arent in my camp and i cant continue that quest nor change Shadowheart. At least i know better for the next time i make a play through. I friendzoned Astarion to pursue Gale and then i got locked out of that so its been a huge bummer :'(
