I encounter a critical problem in act 3. Dice checks no longer work during a conversation with an npc. Once I click on the phrase for a persuasion or deception test, the game does not work and the dice test is not rolled. More than critical problem to play. Has anyone encountered this bug before ?

Hey there, I encountered this issue too yesterday after the latest patch. It is indeed linked to certain mods, the biggest 2 being Improved UI and Mod Fixer. I don't use either of these, but for me it was the Customizer mod. I suggest deleting your mods from their folder or mod manager, and deleting them from the main file of your BG3 game. Then do a repair on the game. If you still want to play with most of your mods, add them one by one and check every time when the issue pops up, so you can leave those mods out for now.

I am having the same problem with a conversation with Gale in camp for an insight check. I think that is the only one so far.
