So I'm in a group of 4 friends playing. We just got to Baldur's gate, saved then hopped off for the night. Then patch 2 hits, and 3 of us can load in just fine, but the 4th player sees all of the humanoids in "t-pose" and has a blank/black minimap. Pretty unplayable. Any idea how we can resolve this? We're not using mods. We've restarted our computers, validated caches, loaded previous saves. At a loss.

Bump for visibility.
3/4 players have no issues after patch 2.
One player has tried almost everything in the book; god rays, restarts, reinstalls, low graphic settings, etc, but they can't load into the Basilisk Gate waypoint. We've just finished everything in the sewers but now we're basically done until something gets fixed.

Going to bump for you, assume it's still stuffed? Maybe anyone wants to chip in if they have this issue as well?

yeah, still broken. I was able to move their character into the manhole/sewer and they could load in there - but as soon as they try to leave the sewer to see the light of day, they're met with the darkness of a black loading screen.

Aye, I posted about this the other day. My partner and I have been playing together and she only started seeing this after the most recent patch. Looks like it only affects the guest clients, not the host. Another thing to note is that you cannot save or load into a new area with someone in your party that is bugged out like this. They will have to force close the client for the host to regain save functionality.

I don't doubt Larian know about this, but I haven't actually seen anything fromn them acknowledging this specific issue. They have some FAQs up for the sound/HDR issues but they all had workarounds anyway - this actually is a gamebreaker and I wonder what the scope of this issue is since i'm not seeing as much noise on this (perhaps because it only hurts some coop runs?).

Fortunately it seems localized to the Lower City. Granted, that's a huge part of act 3, but you might be able to get around a lot by using the sewers in the meantime.

Yeah, I also noticed those same side effects. Another issue I believe was dialogues bugging out/unable to proceed. Didn't think it was important enough to note at the time but perhaps it brings some insight to the debugging effort by devs.

Yeah, as someone who has worked in QA for the last 20+ years, ANY information, no matter how meaningless you think it might be, is necessary. This issue could be caused by some under the hood UI issue or maybe some weird edge case with the implementation of the Withers Wardrobe, for example. Even if it seems unrelated, provide the information because it's the only way the devs are going to be able to diagnose the issue.

Recent hotfix has helped - able to load into Basilisk Gate about 4-6 times before eventually crashing. Not fully resolved.
