I create the "hags bane" found Ethel near her 3 Mushrooms.
Throwing the potion first dont work. And throwing after killing the mushrooms also dont work. Knock her down to 1 HP also not
Seams to be a bug!

This happened to me as well! I got around it by switching to non-lethal weapons!

Throwing the potion at Ethel does absolutely nothing, very frustrating to be unable to finish elegantly. We danced around the hag for like ten rounds waiting for her to regurgitate Vanra, but in the end she was killed by an opportunity attack and Vanra died...

solve the problem in other way- Knock down with passive attack and got "use a dagger to free the child"
