Hi all,

I'm running on a 1060 6gb, i5-7600k, with 16gb ram on an nvme.

The game runs relatively smoothly 1080p 60fps on ultra in single player, but as soon as I go split screen there is constant crashing.

Some areas are unplayable and I have to solo through. Often it is when we pan at the same time, but it just happened again while I was trading and partner was AFK.

The game freezes with no option out, and I have to end it from task manager, and when I report the crash it tells me there is no crash log.

Sometimes it seems to ve a memory leak at around 50% ram usage, but often everything is well within spec, no overheating etc.

I've tried running with everything stock no xmp, administrator, bypass launcher, compatibility settings, tried every option in the options including directx or vulcan, Full screen or windows, capped frames at 30 everything low settings, with and without amd upscaling. It basically seems to make no difference to the frequency of crashes.

The game started crashing a lot around goblin camp, and it's now at least 5 times per hour requiring usually a sign out, with task manager not always managing to close the process.

All drivers up to date, files checked, 2 different SSDs tried, tried reinstalling, level cache deleting, undervolting etc. This has not changed at all between patches.

Thanks ahead of time for any help!

I should also mention if I solo through an area that is suspect, and ask partner to rejoin, if I am still in the problem area it is an instant crash. Often there are areas such as fighting the roots in act II where it was literally crashing every time we started, including on save.

I backtracked to the creche and am facing the same problem again, everything ran fine until we reached the cutscene where the gnome gets shot, and now suddenly its instant crash on split screen again.

I have the same problem with split screen mode as many people on reddit and steam. And unfortunately, it seems that the problem is only getting worse with each patch. I'm running on a RTX 2060 6gb, i5-6400, with 32gb ram.
The only thing that helps is lowering the graphics settings to the very minimum, disabling v-sync and locking FPS to 30. But nevertheless, the game periodically freezes instantly. The most annoying thing is when it freezes during a quick save.

Exact same issue.
MSI 970 4gb
i5 4690k
16 gb memory

The game runs like a dream in singleplayer at ultra everything 60 fps triple buffer blah blah blah, it only crashed when split screen is enabled. (It also crashes if I put everything at low, and 30fps)

This has been an issue from launch for me and I've spent hours trying to test it and "make it crash," and it seems completely inconsistent. It has definitely gotten worse with patch #3, before that, it would crash a few times at the beginning, then start working fine, almost like an old car warming up, now I can't get it to load in and run for more than 60 seconds most of time time, other times it'll run for 5 minutes then crash.
Happens in act 1, I haven't even gotten to act 2.

Fingers crossed, when they push out the cosplay patch it will resolve co-op issues and split screen, but any sort of communication from larian would be great that they're even aware of this issue.

Likewise. It would crash a few times at the beginning, then start working fine, but after a couple of hours crash was repeated.
I'm afraid the cross-play patch will not fix anything, since it will allow you to play in co-op from different platforms, but will not affect the split-screen mode in any way.
This is a truly critical bug that ruins the entire gaming experience. Through blood and sweat I got to act 3, but I no longer have any desire to continue.
