You need 3 ingredients =>
salt barrel from the kitchen in Citadel lvl 10
sulphur from the gay medic in Citadel lvl 9
Coal barrel from Fergus in the starting level.

then you do this, as described in the pic:

then you place your result into the forge.

Where do you put the explosives ? Or do you just drop it near the forge?

if you look around in the forge room there should be a place that lights up...don't remember what it's called exactly but it should basically look like magma or hot lava like. Just click and drag the explosives from your inventory to that spot in the forge...and BLAM! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
