One of my playthroughs uses a bard/warlock multiclass. The levels they are currently at is 6 Bard, 5 warlock. That leaves my warlock slots at level 3 (2 of them) and my bard slots ranging from 3 to 1. So, same top level slots.
At the point at which patch 1 hit, I became unable to use warlock slots to cast any spell (including ones I took as a warlock) until my bard slots are gone... which massively debilitates a lot of a multiclass build.
Patch 2, of course, not only did not address this... but it didn't even mention it.
It was preferable prior, when I could at least cast my warlock earned spells with warlock slots. Now, they are useless, since I have to burn slots that only a long rest will replace. And makes upcasting things like Armour of A revert to a level 1 spell.
Of course, a bug report was filed. With a savegame copy. And of course, other than an automated "you sent a bug report", there was no other response.
Not sure what their turnaround time is on an actual human "We see this and are working on it", or IF they even will... but I find myself disappointed. Especially since a similar issue was mentioned in that patch... and "fixing" it broke a campaign.
Perhaps, and this is just a suggestion, maybe fixing things should be tested a bit better, hmm? Multiple builds, multiple tests, so it works as intended.
Because that "fix" killed an entire playthrough, at least until it actually works.
Side note, this forums site is buggy as heck. More 504 errors than I have ever seen.
