Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Force character creation on an in-progress multiplayer game?

So basically I already have a party I built of 3 custom characters and I'm trying to do one more. I have a small amount of progress in the game to the point I'm currently in Auntie Ethel's lair.

That said, whenever I join the game with another client it takes control of one of the existing characters. How I do stop it from doing that and force the second client to go into creation mode when joining?


And secondly, why does Larian ALWAYS feel the need to make full custom parties such a PITA
