Been trying to get the Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime to install to be able to play BG3, and anytime I try to finish the installer it says it's "already being installed". Anyone else have this issue?
Not sure what you mean by what store...I bought the game through steam. When I try to launch the game it prompts me to install .NET Desktop Runtime. The I get another pop up that tells me the installation has failed because another installation is in progress. But there is nothing else installing. Not sure what to do. I've googled and googled how to resolve but I've come up empty.
Thought depending where you got it (GOG/Steam/other) there might be an issue with the installer. Are you using Win7, 10, or 11? Have you tried to install the runtime as admin (rt-click run as Admin)?
