Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Technical Problems talking to geoff initiates a crash

when i talk to geoff the smith, my game takes a dump when i ask to browse.

i was just trying to get the 2002 gold..

I am running 1.34
XP OS
i'm using a pny verto 128 pci vid card.
have all my updates (win).
I'm actually about half way through the game i think and thjis just started up.
I've had to regen an item to fix a broken quest. there may be a duplicate axe of stone in the game..yes there is.
I have experienced that disappearing chest thing recently, too.
I've already reinstalled/patched/rebooted etc.

Some other behaivor...sticky vid. game play up to the crash. can go in other buildings, maps, sleep...just when i talk to the geoff-ster..

Maybe there is a problem with the cut scene when he leaves to go to his house?

About the gold (unless you meant you were selling loot to get enough); if you drag a stack out of (or into) your inventory (or a container) you can hold the control key down before dropping, to bring up a split stack pane where you can specify how much to transfer.
