Hi guys,
Some feedback on the actual physical box edition. I might be too old school but the box is so darn big it does not fit anywhere. The box from DOS II was big but this is just crazy. The statue feels cheap. Does not fit together correctly and will have to be glued in order for the mind flayer to stay on without falling off. Key-ring is great, Dice is very cool also. Map is OK. Art book is good.

Things (in my opinion) that I feel are important for a physical boxed edition are a really good thick manual with all the information, history, art and other stats for playing the game. A box that's not massive that you can't fit it anywhere. A decent size like the collectors edition WOW box or even like the Baldur's Gate II box. I think there is no need for a massive statue. Maybe some other small quality touchie feelie? As this is an official D&D product maybe some D&D stuff?

Anyhow hope this help for future releases.
Regards.

Hello, personnally I got the opposite impression. I was expecting something very big, and it is, but it's because it's packed with a lot of goodies and everything had to be well protected. If half of the boxes came with broken diorama etc... we would not hear the end of it.

The diorama was actually way smaller than I expected, and that was a good surprise, because I was not thinking to expose it somewhere, but it's not huge so it can fit in most busy shelves. If you really watch it you should be amazed by all the details, I was surprised, by example on the Drow.

But yeah I agree that I would have prefered an option to not get the diorama and instead other things, or a better price without diorama (or not paying the game two times). But I'm still happy that I bought everything.
