One suggestion that came from the DD forum, that would be nice to have in BD is a take all button when opening chest and barrels.

Sacred deals with this by giving you the options of "picking up only gold", "picking up everything" and "picking up only rare items and gold" or somesuch, if I remember right.

As I was encumbered in Sacred, but didn't want the game to decide what is rare or not => I used my "pick up yourself" option again <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Maybe the option should be "Take all (but only the stuff you want)"

(The game then scans your brain and based on that only takes the stuff you want)

there can never be a patch to satisfy any user concerning such issues as there may be some players who are very very indecisive. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> so the game will always crash whenever it scans my brain as i cannot make up my mind. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Yes been busy playing other games after DD, like NWN, IWD 2 and temple of elemental evil, but has been total let down after DD.

About The Temple of Elemental Evil...yeah....that game sucked. I was totally looking forward to it and it just blew. SOOOO many bugs it wasn't funny. I should've listened to all the reviews that said it would have them. Oh well it was fun while it lasted but i never did beat it. My fav has to remain..Baulder's Gate...all the way! wooHOO

Years ago I decided that in nearly all games, all other things being equal, the item that the merchants will pay more for is the one I want to wear. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> I don't make my decisions based on that (especially in BD, as the item descriptions are exceedingly thorough), but it is a handy tiebreaker!

And Divinity spoiled that by adding "expensive" as a valid item bonus. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />
