So depending on your race, your character takes a different stance in combat, and while this doesn't affect anything besides cosmetics I think it would be nice to be able to choose your combat stance regardless of what race you pick.

For example, if you pick Half-Orc, you are locked into this aggressive brutish stance, whereas with Elves you take a more flamboyant and practiced pose. While I think this certainly helps communicate the kind of fighting styles these races would typically employ, I think it would be nice to be able to choose what stance your character takes when creating them. So, with that in mind, I'd like to suggest a new feature in character creation; Combat Stance

Combat Stance will be located in the same UI section as body type, and cycling through will allow you to choose from the various fighting animations for your character. By default, your character will have the stance matching their race, but you can freely choose another. This may cause some problems with compatibility between small and medium races, so options may need to be restricted on size (Gnome, Halfling, Dwarf and Goblin* are exclusive to one another, and likewise for medium races and their respective styles)

*While Goblins are NPCs, their animations may work for small races regardless. This may also be true of Hobgoblins and Bugbears and medium races.

I hope this is something Larian would consider, as it would definitely help players refine their character themes, especially since racial bonuses were done away with to (presumably) stop races being pigeonholed.
