ok, i know that by plot design (albeit a rather weak one IMHO) the pyramids are removed from the inventory by some deus-ex-machina-type device as of the beginning of Act IV. while i don't see the reason for this at all, I wonder:

Do they show back up in your inventory after you finish the game?

In other words, does your character get to use them for all future battlefields type quests? Because its really going to suck if you don't and you can't. I find running back and forth extremely tedious when there is a known easier way, which was denied for mysterious and apparently unjustified plot reasons.

(hm, if this is the case I may actually have developed a reason to use the missing item hack and put the pyramids back into my inventory so that i don't have to run back n forth. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> )

Or does the ability to open rifts solve that problem?

Nope, don't show up - I have only been in one rift of all I saw => seems to be walking time... Though, I'm asking myself <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> - nope, the rift wand needs coordinates, right? And IIRC the specific rune pic on the wall.

I think it's sportive time for flatfooters.

bah. i'll use Raze's way to give myself the pyramids again. after backing up the save game of course. if there is a way around walking, i'll find it!

sadly your suggestion to leave the skeleton behind in the camp while descending to level 1 of any particular dungeon in battlefields doesn't work. as soon as you descend, the skeleton is returned to your inventory.
