Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Staff of power malarky!

When i go into the cave to get the staff of power i cant pick it up, am i supposed to be able to? If not what the hell do i do with it? Another 2 things, i found this mirror and dont know what to do with it, and i dont know how to disable the seeing stone-this game really cracks me up sometimes, any help would be appreciated. Another thing, once ive solved quests, its not recorded in my diary, e.g. I gave the guy thats turning into a crystal his potion and he was fine, quest solved, but in my diary it says ive not done it, also the kid with the ball down the well, i killed that ugly frog thing, but i cant pick up the damn ball, my character just moves likes hes gonna do it, then he doesnt pick up!!! I take it the newest patch would fix this i hope? Cheers.

Staff => Drag&drop <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

Seeing stone => put the mirror from Anbuklar in front of one location the stone shows (I always took the church). Then click on the stone again and watch - then report to the rebel.

Crystal man => I don't understand, this quest worked for me in version 1.42 and 1.44. Giving the poultice should result in finishing the quest, getting XP and the Marksman's cloak as reward <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Ball => take out the "always run" option and move close to the ball, until it is grey, try drag&drop then.

As a rule <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - if you can't pick up by clicking, use drag&dropping into your char's inventory or on one of the portrait icons.

hm..well did you know that you can click and drag things from the world and put them in your inventory? All you have to do is bring up the inventory screen,you might have to move it around a bit so you can pick up the object, then just click and hold and drag it to your inventory screen...or did you already know this? lol I know what your talking about with the quest thing though. That happened to me with the quest involving the imps and that big ugly green mushroom...i revived all of them but it said that i didn't.
